Exclusively at Belsay Hall as part of Picture House, Film, Art and Design. An intimate evening performance, for three nights only. Directed by Tim Hopkins, The Lost Chord meditates on the power of music to recall emotion. Describing a search for lost completeness, this exclusive show will connect the emptiness of Belsay Hall with the mournful tones of a Victorian Ballad.
The Lost Chord takes two parts: an acoustic episode using 19th century technology in the Pillar Hall and an audiovisual using 20th century video in the Butlers Pantry.
The 45 minute performance will start at 7.00pm and will be followed by dinner and a private tour of the Picture House exhibition.
